Moderately experienced growers of White Fire OG should be able to help this plant reach its full potential in warmer, drier climates or, barring that, by growing it indoors. The strain has some resistance to diseases and pests, but requires attentive trimming, as well as temperature and moisture control. Within 60 to 70 days, WiFi OG grows into medium-sized plants with tightly compacted buds of vibrant green.
Want to taste some ocimene for yourself? Mandarin oranges are an excellent source of this monoterpene that, notes a 2014 study, has highly effective anti-inflammatory properties. Other cannabis strains containing ocimene inclue Clementine, Dream Queen, Dutch Treat, Golden Pineapple, Green Crack and J1.

It may be best to think twice the next time you see one of those slogan tees that reads: “All I need is wifi, food and my bed.”
The wearer might be referencing his or her favourite cannabis variety—White Fire OG, or WiFi for short. The strain’s aromas of soil, cedar and citrus, its soaring THC content and its eye-catching visual appeal as it grows makes this cannabis variety easily recognizable.
White Fire #6, a phenotype of White Fire OG bred by Grey Area, took 2nd place at the 2017 High Times Cannabis Cup in the Best Coffeeshop Flowers category.
A variety for the experienced cannabis consumer, WiFi came to be when the team at OG Raskal Seeds in Southern California crossed Fire OG with The White, creating an energizing hybrid boasting a THC potency that has tested as high as 30 percent. The White got its name from the white trichomes that blanket its flowers, a feature that WiFi replicates.
Although The White has more indica genetics in its lineage, the Fire OG blesses WiFi with uplifting qualities and makes most of its phenotypes feel sativa-dominant. White Fire 43 is a select phenotype of White Fire OG grown by TLC Collective in Los Angeles. The 43 refers to being a standout phenotype in a lot of 500-plus White Fire OG seeds, bred initially by OG Raskal. Like its parent, White Fire 43 should have dense, barrel-like buds and others with pointed, conic formations.

This strain produces the monoterpene, ocimene, more than most other cannabis strains. Ocimene is sweet and herbaceous-like basil, although it also has undertones of citrus and wood. Users who find White Fire OG to be an uplifting or stimulating variety likely have ocimene to thank for the pleasant effect. But it’s not only consumers who benefit. For the plant, the monoterpene helps keep harmful elements, such as aphids, at bay.
