Flavor: An Earthy, woodsy/piney smell. The smoke has a very complicated taste with hints of chocolate and very dry red wine.
Red Devil is Mrs. Cannasseur’s new favorite and is currently the leader in her everlasting quest to find the perfect strain to deal with her very serious pain-management issues. What sets Red Devil apart in her mind is that it gives her the ability to keep up with me when I smoke my high THC strains while still giving her the pain relief and relaxation she needs to go about her day.
As advertised, this Red Devil is genetically very much an Indica (Afghani x Afghani Skunk) yet it smokes so much like a Sativa that it is commonly listed as such on dispensary shelves.
As for me, it’s honestly very hard to describe my own experience with Red Devil without harkening back to my newbie days of smoking. I got ripped on a level that I haven’t in many, many years. This stuff is the bomb!
Red Devil was created by this guy in order to treat his very rare and painful liver disease. The idea behind it was to create a 100% Indica that hits like a Sativa while maintaining a high enough CBD content to ensure pain relief. He was justly awarded with a 2009 Toronto Cannabis Cup for his efforts, but in my opinion he deserves a freaking Nobel Prize in the Cannabis Arts.
Appearance: Sinister red hairs clawing out from very light-green buds. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a strain more appropriately named.
Holy Cheech Marin, Batman! This stuff came out of nowhere! I decided to try some Red Devil on a whim the other day and I’m certainly glad I did.
Effects: Red Devil has a very strong and immediate head rush that eventually engulfs your body in an intense state of euphoric relaxation. This effect can only be described as mind-blowing. The high is very long lasting and eventually settles on a “tingly” feeling that manages to neutralize even the most intense nerve pain and soreness.
