how to make a homade bong

This one’s quick and cute. Take a ballpoint pen, remove the ink, and that’s the downstem. Fashion a bowl out of tin foil, punch some holes in it, and attach to the pen. Now take an empty, clean “Honey Bear” container, poke a small hole in the bear’s belly, and insert your pen-and-foil bowl. Add some water to the bear and draw from the yellow tip where the honey comes out, and pretty soon, you’ll feel like Goldilocks — just right.

This one’s down and dirty, and super-easy if you’re in a bind. Heat two knives over a stove, campfire, grill, etc. Be careful not to burn yourself with the hot knives. Once the knives are extremely hot, take one, place your cannabis onto the blade (note: hash, extracts, and concentrates will work much better than flower), and then make a sandwich with the other hot knife on top and your weed in the middle. When smoke begins to rise, inhale. You can also use a paper towel roll or empty plastic bottle for a funnel.
Place your bud on the dent, and light while covering the carb. Put your mouth over the hole you normally drink from, inhale, then let go of the carb, and you’re good to go.

What you’ll need: a plastic bottle, tin foil, a knife or scissors, and tape. Mold a bowl and stem out of the foil. Punch a hole in the bottle cap, and insert your homemade bowl into that. Cut the plastic bottle in half, take the top half of the bottle, and tape the ziplock bag to the now-open end of the bottle. Push the baggie into the bottle. Fill your bowl with bud, light it, and at the same time, pull the baggie out of the bottle, which will make the baggie fill with smoke. Then unscrew the cap and inhale. This guy’s pretty good at it!
The good news is you’ve got some killer weed. The bad news is you got nothing to smoke it with. But stay calm, channel your inner MacGyver, and check out these easy options for making a DIY pipe or bong out of stuff you probably have lying around your house.
Got killer weed but no bong? Well, it’s time to get crafty and build yourself a pipe that would make Rube Goldberg proud.
Grab an empty two-liter soda bottle and fill it with water. Remove the cap and fashion a small bowl out of tin foil in the opening. As you light the bowl, hold it over a sink or bucket and have a friend poke a large hole in the bottom. As the water drains, the bottle will fill with smoke. Remove the bowl from the mouthpiece and pass it around! Note: This is sometimes referred to as a “Waterfall Bong.”

Brass screens

This is how most people smoke out of fruit. You can always change things up to make them more pleasant to smoke. If you have a bowl, place it on the top of the apple. Or, you could use the tip of a pen or any other material (that doesn’t melt or release harmful fumes) as a bowl.
So, what pipe screen should you use with your homemade bong? And further, what do you do if there are no screens around?

Since this article is about making a homemade bong, chances are you don’t have any actual pipe screens around. In this case, you can make some DIY pipe screens for single-time use. Here are your options:
The options are endless, try out some and choose your favourites.
What is their disadvantage? Well, brass screens are not as sturdy as screens made from steel, for example. Although brass screens won’t melt, if you hit your pipe often, they will get weaker over time and break at some point.
You can also make a screen from a paperclip or a similar piece of stiff wire. Bend the wire into a spiral and position it snugly in the bowl. This can work as a halfway-decent screen that keeps larger chunks of ash and weed in your pipe.
Brass screens are perhaps the most common, featuring in tobacco pipes and many glass and ceramic bongs. You can get them at just about any tobacco store or headshop for little money. These circle-shaped cut-outs are made from brass mesh, with each screen about the size of a small coin. Brass has the advantage that you can bend it easily; this way, you can fit these screens easily into various bowl sizes. If you happen to have brass screens that are a tiny bit too large for your bowl, you can easily cut them to size.

Let’s first make it clear that the following methods should only be used as last resorts. If you can go out and buy yourself a glass piece, do that. These aren’t materials traditionally used to smoke weed. A proper bong or pipe will always do your bud more justice. The flavour, the burn, and the smoothness will all be better from an object specially made with these factors in mind.
