  • Add 5ml of Flush per litre.
  • Spray Bugicide until run-off anytime an infestation happens.

A Deep Water Culture (DWC) growing method involves suspending your plants’ roots in a highly oxygenated and nutrient-rich water solution. This allows you to grow healthier and stronger crops in an extremely convenient and easy way.

  • Add 0.5ml of DWC per litre of solution.
  • Electrical conductivity needs to be 0.8.
  • Add 2.5ml of Root Stimulant per litre.
  • Add between 1ml and 1.5ml of DWC per litre.
  • Electrical conductivity needs to be 1.4.
  • Add 2ml of Ignition per litre.
  • Add 5ml of Root Stimulant per litre.
  • Add 2ml of Enzyme per litre.
  • Spray Evolution once a week until run-off.
  • Add 0.5ml of Magne-Cal+ per litre.
  • Add 1ml of Hydro Silicon per litre.
  • Add 0.5ml of Pure Clean per litre.
  • Spray Bugicide until run-off anytime an infestation happens.
  • Add 1.5ml of DWC per litre.
  • Electrical conductivity needs to be 1.6.
  • Add 2ml of Ignition per litre.
  • Add 2ml of Enzyme per litre.
  • Choose between adding 1.5ml of Bloom Boost per litre, 0.25ml of Platinum PK 9-18 per litre, or 1x sachet of Boosting Powder per 100L.
  • Add 1ml of Magne-Cal+ per litre.
  • Add 1ml of Hydro Silicon per litre.
  • Add 1ml of Pure Clean per litre.
  • Spray Bugicide until run-off anytime an infestation happens.

When you’re getting started, make sure to adjust the electrical conductivity of your solution, and adding DWC and a root stimulant for the best start:

  • Add between 1.5ml and 2ml of DWC per litre.
  • Electrical conductivity needs to be 1.8.
  • Add 2ml of Ignition per litre.
  • Add 2ml of Enzyme per litre.
  • Choose between adding 2ml of Bloom Boost per litre, 0.5ml of Platinum PK 9-18 per litre, or 2x sachet of Boosting Powder per 100L.
  • Add 1ml of Magne-Cal+ per litre.
  • Add 1ml of Pure Clean per litre.
  • Spray Bugicide until run-off anytime an infestation happens.
  • Add between 1.5ml and 2ml of DWC per litre.
  • Electrical conductivity needs to be 1.8.
  • Add 2ml of Ignition per litre.
  • Add 2ml of Enzyme per litre.
  • Choose between adding 1.5ml of Bloom Boost per litre, 0.3ml of Platinum PK 9-18 per litre, or 1x sachet of Boosting Powder per 100L.
  • Add 1ml of Magne-Cal+ per litre.
  • Add 1ml of Hydro Silicon per litre.
  • Add 1ml of Pure Clean per litre.
  • Spray Bugicide until run-off anytime an infestation happens.

This stage is ideal to provide your plants with an armour for endurance and to speed up the growth. This is when you start introducing a bugicide, an enzyme to break down dead roots into nutrients, a tonic to revive your plants, a product to improve your plants’ resistance, and a continuous flush to prevent salt build-ups.

Those using coco coir and/or reverse osmosis water will want to add a calcium/magnesium supplement to make up for the lack of it in your water. Growers using tap water will likely have more than enough calcium/magnesium in their water already, but it’s a good idea to add it if you know you live in an area with soft (more pure) water.

Good News! You may have noticed that no plant food in the US is easier to get your hands on than Miracle-Gro; that stuff is everywhere! But the standard Miracle-Gro formula is not good for growing cannabis. However, recently the Scotts Miracle-Gro company bought General Hydroponics Inc. and they plan to start putting the Flora trio (completely unchanged) in mainstream stores wherever you would find Miracle-Gro. So the dream of truly easily available cannabis nutrients will likely soon become a reality!

  • Give enough water for 10-20% runoff, and always remove runoff!
  • Repeat Week 3 for a longer vegetative period
  • Repeat Week 8 for a longer flowering stage
  • Add CaliMagic when growing in coco coir or using RO (reverse osmosis) water

Widely Available

  1. Never premix nutrients (mix nutrients in water).
  2. Add “FloraMicro” to water first .
  3. Maintain pH between 5.5-6.5.
  4. Add all nutrients before adjusting pH.
  5. Give plain water every other watering (coco coir, soil, etc.)

We recommend starting with the amounts listed above. If your plant shows signs of deficiencies, check the pH first as this is just as likely the issue.
Now for the standard instructions!

Personally we’ve found the extra supplements and higher levels of nutrients recommended by General Hydroponics to be unnecessary. We get great results using the more simple and cannabis-specific nutrient levels recommended by our custom schedule!

Easy Nutrients: General Hydroponics Flora Trio Guide For many people, nutrients can be a pretty confusing topic. Not only are there tons of companies to wade through, but some companies have
